Yes there is a lounge.
Hello, No we do not sell beer. Have a great day! Mark C. Russell
Temporary traffic signals installed to allow one lane thru. So yes you can use the exit from either direction 😊 Update: All finished
Plenty of space and well worth the stop and make sure you visit the museum inside, and the food is great as well.
Yes they do. Awesome huevos rancheros too.
Hello Mike, our diesel has 5% or less bio in it. This is blended at the Valero rack. All highway diesel sold in New Mexico is required to have a 5% bio blend. Thank you for your question and have a great day! Mark C. Russell Director of Operations Russell's Travel Center in Glenrio N.M.
The female manager went above and beyond resolving an issue we had with two souvenirs we had purchased for our girls. I would highly recommend this travel center as they have a great selection of souvenirs and travel snacks. The staff is friendly, helpful and genuinely concerned about making sure every customer is well taken care of. Thank you again for help!!!
Very nice and clean truck stop. Plenty of parking and good service.
Great place! This is the first Truck and Travel center I have seen that does not charge crazy prices for food and necessities! I am from florida and the prices for almost everything in this store is either the same price or cheaper! The egg sandwich definitely hit the spot! Exactly what I was looking for:) I will definitely be stopping here frequently to stock up on groceries! They had many things like liquid smoke that I have a hard time trying to find when I run out:) I am so happy I got an order to go, it gave me time to actually look at what they have and the prices. Thank you for not price gouging people! I will gladly shop here instead of Walmart any day:) They even had frozen meat reasonably priced. Y’all made my day! Thanks!
Every drink from the soda fountain is flat. How about less antique cars and more ripe soda. Give us something we can use. America.
Russells has everything you need and more. There's spacious parking lot with plenty of room for RV's or Campers, as well as a parking lot for big rigs. They also have a dog run, full service diner style restaurant, Subway, and a general gas station store. There's also a car museum, which on top of being charming, was free to visit.Bathrooms and pumps have been clean and well serviced every time I've visited.
Restaurant waitress/cashier distracted and continually talking to fellow associate. Went right outside to tables to eat. Food was luke warm and refried beans dried out! Store and Museum Nice as always.
Great place one stop gas..food..beverages.. trinket shop. And clean restrooms
Great place to stop, refuel, get snacks. They have a great selection and you have to check out the car museum.
Highly recommend to see the cars. Diner is good eating and very reasonably priced. Friendly and competant waitstaff.
I'm so effing mad, after 17 years of professional driving this is the 1st time stopping here. What a waste, to deprive myself of such a delightful gem. Clean, well maintained, good food & plenty of room for parking. As far as travel centers go this is one of the best I've been to in all these years of driving across the country.
I stop here at least 3 times a wk & recently stopped learning they now have the cafe open 24hrs for us truck drivers to get something to eat while other places remain closed or drive through only.. I thank u for this & recommend every truck driver check this place out . Very clean place & has any & everything u need... thank u again for doing what u do for us drivers
This is my favorite stop on I-40. The museum is fantastic. Its open every day from 7am-10pm. If Flint is showcasing the cars, tell him hes mention on the Google reviews. Hes such a cool dude and if you have time, hes got some massively interesting stories. He even got to meet Marylin Monroe one time. Ask him to tell you about that. Wish Flint the best. Hes a great guy.
One of the coolest truck stop/ travel stops I’ve ever stopped at. The museum is amazing!
Hands down the best place to stop on the I40. Treated like family the moment we walked in. And that museum was SO COOL! Really took me back in time. It is mind blowing how vast a collection the Russell's have. Would highly recommend taking your friends, kids and family here over anywhere else. Tons of souvenirs, albeit pricy, are one of a kind. Add this place to your map! I would give them 10 stars if I could. We will be back!!
Absolutely Wow! I was in awe whenever I walked into In the museum and I saw the stunning vehicles. Being a girl that is obsessed with cars. I was in a dream world. It is just a very beautiful place with a lot of different history in there With actors and singers as I mentioned the vehicles. They also have a really cute section in the store to buy gifts and favors. Also a place to dine in. Incredible just straight Wow!
We absolutely love everything ❤ about Russell's!!! Food is delicious 😋 people are so friendly..
The diner serves overpriced garbage, staff doesn't listen to or fulfill orders and the portions are small for the price. I do not recommend.
The museum is awesome, and the food in the restaurant is very good. Definitely going again.
This place is VERY interesting! The gifts are extremely "pricey". I felt that to be unnecessary, and decided my son could wait on a $35 toy truck. However; this place is filled with many treats for car enthusiasts. The restaurant is also VERY good, and the menu has a variety of options. The store is well-stocked and there is also a Subway restaurant inside too. The car museum is really exciting, and the staff there were extremely friendly. I highly reccomend stopping here.
Excellent is not the word for here. Words would be hard to describe this place. It's service is fantastic great $ for the food and the museum a must see. Will definitely stop here on my trips
Heard about this place through some family members. Really nice museum cars and motorcycles really cool gift shop
A beautiful service area. The restrooms were so clean, the staff so friendly.
This place was amazing. Best pit stop on our whole trip.Clean restrooms, lots of selection in this shop for snacks and drinks and things. Really nice 50 style diner. and a free car museum with lots of really nice classic cars that are constantly being rotated in and out so that there is new things to see every time you go. Staff was very friendly and it was eager to answer any questions or just have a nice chat.
Awesome trucks they have, great museum, home made soups and a restaurant I should have ate in, I was just in a hurry. Was late because museum had so many cool things.
Love this place, from the restaurant, subway, gift shop, dog walk, showers, diesel and gas to the free car museum there's something for everyone to enjoy!
Great place with lots of Route 66 memorabilia. Make sure to walk through the car museum!
A great place to stop and stretch your legs and get some munchies and some highly caffeinated coffee! They have a neat small car museum and excellent food at the cafe. Never a disappointment.
Always great food and museum is a great surprise you don't even know about unless you go in! Dog park could use some expanding. Ain't like you don't have room, your in a desert.
Outstanding breakfast. Cool cars. Groceries. Plenty of truck parking. Exercise machines. Updated showers. What more can a growin boy ask for.
Wonderful, phenomenal, pleasant surprise on the 40. Great customer service, clean, and great food are just a few ways to describe this truck stop. Plus they have a great shopping area and the classic collectible museum was just the icing on the cake. Made it in my list of top truck stops !!!
Didn’t have breakfast restaurant wasn’t open at five sit around till almost 6 still not open I left very disappointed
Very interesting place. Staff very helpful and polite
This place is so cool! They need to do a better job of advertising along the road, I saw one sign and it was as I was getting off to get gas. I'm so glad I stopped. You could literally spend a half a day in this place looking at all the cool stuff and watching the old commercials about cars & car products. $12.95 for a snow tire!!!If you're a motor head or you just like history this is a great place to stop & spend some time. Next time I go by I will plan to spend more time there. And bonus diesel was $0.40 cheaper then where I was going to pull off!
Very cool car museum. Lots of souvenirs, snacks. Diner inside as well. Great pit stop! My favorite of my roadtrip.
This was an awesome stop! Sometimes with gas stations and truck stops, you never know what you are going to get. This place was immaculately clean, organized and made you think you were in a museum. Considering everything with Covid-19 shenanigans, it is nice to know there is a place to stop that is clean, you can get gas, drinks, and snacks. The staff working here were great and had great attitudes. We will try and stop back by on the way home from Oklahoma.
Wonderful place to stop by. They are very well supplied with all kinds of snacks and foods. There us a cute free museum inside with amazing cars from the 30's to the 70's.
Very clean place , clean restrooms, people are nice, services are fast an friendly, I love it , awesome.
We had such a nice experience at Russels travel Center. Clean spaces and polite employees. So many snack options. We had lunch at the diner. The Turkey melt was really good, loaded with green chili. YES!
Very clean with nice staff. Great stopping spot
I always love stopping here. Friendly staff. Good food, hot showers and the museum is a must see.
They have anything and everything you would want as a traveler. They have an old car museum which is impressive with cars, motorcycles and various antique articles. The museum is free and donations are accepted.
What a pleasant surprise. If I owned a truck stop, I would want a place just like this. Clean fuel island, bathrooms, great food and nice people serving others. Car museum for next visit after pandemic. If you stop at the big three truck stops rather than here....you're missing something special.
This is the best truck stop I think I have ever seen. It is clean, has everything and the workers were very nice.
Even through we don't have much time to use their parking lot, since we are normally switching drivers, we love this place, for the area we do park, it's clean. We love the 2 kennel dog runs, thought it is slowly filling with the number 2's from all of our dear an loving fur babies, it is not on the staff's responsibility to clean it, since they do provide doggy bags. Inside, the staff is very polite, an tend to each customer as best as they can. The car museum is free, an is always nice to take a jump into the past. The restaurant, is very nice as well. Friendly staff, an quick to deliver a nice hot meal. We'll always stop when we can when passing thru.
This place is awesome!!! They have fresh coffee and fast. Subway inside and other food. They also have the basic road supplies like cereal, rice, can goods, soups and other supplies for the travelers and truckers. They have showers which are very clean and the restrooms are very clean too. Best of all of you have time check out their classic car museum it’s awesome they got old fords, corvettes and old jeeps!!!
Love this place! Best mom and pop truck stop hands down!! Big clean updated showers
Each part of this travel stop is first class, with a pretty interesting classic car / toy museum, which you can walk through for free. As a driver, I appreciate the clean showers, the store, which is actually a small market, and comfortable restaurant with great food and reasonable prices. One more thing: they have three sets of restrooms, all clean, no waiting.
Easy on and off for trucks. Decent bathroom, great coffee, and lots of snacks that offer some variety from typical chain truckstops. The car and antique museum is a pretty cool place to stretch your legs and see some interesting things.
Very cool how they have a car museum inside also the food is amazing very clean place to stop
2/21/205️⃣🌟I came across this cafe thanks to yelp, and at first it took me elsewhere as the address wasn’t listed. It also didn’t specify that it was inside of a truck stop. After carefully reading some reviews, I understood where to find this place and so glad I did.1. The truck stop is huge with so many things to offer you while you either get gas or get food. 2. There’s a cool diner inside.3. The staff at the diner, museum and register were all very friendly and helpful. 4. Free vintage car museum 5. Clean restaurant, restroom and a lot of gifts/ souvenirs to pick from.I had a great time here, after ordering my steak and eggs and French toast, I was full to my maximum. I needed to walk off the food coma I was getting myself into, so I explored the vintage car museum and checked out the amazing vehicles they had. Along with all the nostalgic things you can imagine from the 50’s & 60’s era. Definitely come here and spend some time here, eating and exploring, it will be worth it 👍🏼
